In this post,i would like to thank all the family members of the nhsb family for their relentless effort that they put into the making of the marching video.Do u remember last june when we started our arduous friday drill session?We started from scratch,some do not even have the basic knowledge about drills.However let's look at the present condition.The band now not only is effective in their marching technique but now is capable in marching with instruments.Many star 3 leaders frm various CCAs approached me and said"Wow i didn't know the band could march and they could even march with their instruments."I replied,"what do u expect,they are band members".

One key and important lesson we must learn from our drills experience is that once we start from scratch,we must keep on 'sratching'.This SYF'09 will not be a walk in the park.We have to practice very hard and on top of that practice smart.I believe that everyone has the potential to outshine their present capabalities and will not disappoint this family by being lazy.This GOLD that we yield to have is within our grasp,we will create legend by being the batch of students in all NHSB history to clinch the 1st GOLD medal.In another few minutes will be the beginning of February.We have at most 2 months to SYF from now.This is a family effort and in this musical journey,no one will walk alone and we will eventually rise to the occasion.NHSB ROCKS(:
