Hi Members!

Well, firstly, congratulations to each and every one of you. Nan Hua Symphonic Band attained a 78.66% In the 3rd National Band Competition. And if I'm not wrong, we are ranked 5th in the 3rd division. So give yourself a pat on the back :) That 1.34%, it's very near to us. Continue to work hard. We CAN, MUST and WILL achieve it. Of course, with that in mind, 6.34% would be nothing to us, right? :)

I know to many, it might be a tad bit disappointing. However, we all worked hard for it. And through this, I've seen and heard what NHSB can do! I've seen how the members have bonded and practiced long and hard (of course, there are exceptions lol). So all these really show and tell me what NHSB is made of. You all are smart people, you all should know what I mean :)

No, it's not the end of the world. Here's the message Mrs Chua asked me to convey to the band "No disappointment at all. Let's use this as a spring board towards SYF." As Mrs Chua has once mentioned, we have short term goals to improve ourselves for our long term aims of being better musicians. So do not let the results affect you guys. Lets treat this as a learning experience :) We can do better right? Lets continue to work hard to bring the band to greater heights!

On a lighter note, There will be sectionals tomorrow for brasses from 3 to 5. However, all members please report to CR18 to collect your instruments and move them back to band room. Thanks.
