Btw, some things to take note of:

1. Please fill up any food allergies or special diets behind the consent form regarding the holiday band practice and submit on Thursday along with Potpourri consent form. This is very important so please cooperate with us.

2. Please get your orders for cultural potpourri done by this Thursday, along with the payment. SLs will be accounted for the unsold tickets.

3. *Concert publicity* Crescent Girls School will be having their "cultural potpourri" (same as our cultural pot, just that idk what name)this saturday, 20 Nov, 7:30pm, at UCC, $15. Its exactly the same as ours. What a coincidence. Please try to support and listen to other bands/performing arts groups. (And Mrs Chua will be conducting btw)

Okay. Thats about it. On a heavier note. Please reflect deeply on what Mrs Chua said today and I hope that each and every point she made is etched in your minds. Please do not think that you can take your attendance for granted because there will always be another person in the section to stand in place for you and you will always get away with it scott-free . As Mrs Chua said. No one is indispensable in the band. Please do not think that by being one of the better players, You don't have to sit in for practice just because you know your part and can play it. If that's the case, why would you need to come to school if you got the textbook and can just read it at home yourself? We can be a wonderful band, the best band in Singapore. I'm not even exaggerating. But it is all these things that are stopping us to move on as a whole. Your own actions are dragging the whole band down. This is the difference between the GWH bands and us - Discipline and the sense of commitment and urgency. Think about it.
